Kentucky Brackenhurst square is the WORST.
Truthfully I am not a take-away food fan but if there is one meal that I really enjoy and willing to pay a premium for, that is Kentucky Fried Chicken. I had two bad experience at the Brackenhurst Square Kentucky about six months ago but decided to leave it and simply not to go back – principally I don`t complain as I find little if anything changes especially with large organisations like the Kentucky Franchise. To my ignorance I decided to have a take-away month-end today and for my sins went back to Bracken Square Kentucky which is not 500 meter from my house. I ordered a 3 piece about 10am this morning for a brunch meal . When getting home I see that the top of the drum stick was bigger than the beast pieces – I assure you this is not an exaggeration. Considering that Kentucky charges you +R12 at least a piece of chicken one expects a normal size chicken piece. Having said that, not only was it small but the chicken was so dry it was like “Biltong” - there was absolutely no moisture in the chicken so I can only assume this was a least a few days old. I simply cannot and will not leave my poor experience quite this time – hence my compliant. I decided this time I would not simply accept it and took the meal back which is simply a waste of my time but felt it warranted. The attitude of why are you complaining was the response form the cashier – no-one else is complaining. The small piece is what we offer. I than demanded my money back as an exchange for the meal because rectification for replacement was no longer an option. Even the manager, whilst willing to assist me with the refund, had little care for the of quality and size of the pieces. I know I am not the only customer that has had and currently receiving shocking service and quality from Bracken Square Kentucky as this seems too regular for other people not to be experiencing the same. I have learned my lesson and hence my formal compliant to “Hello-Peter”. I urge you to seriously do the same and complain otherwise large franchise like Kentucky will get away with lack of care of their customers.
