******** and Rude Staff

KFC are currently running a cyber munchday promotion. I received my voucher today via sms. When I tried to use it at KFC Umhlanga in Lagoon Drive, the cashier couldn't get it to work. She called an associate who also tried but to no avail. Eventually, they said, oh no this is for black friday only thats why its not working. The sms clearly states its valid until tomorrow (Tuesday, 28 Nov). I told them I received the sms today. Then they changed their story and said their internet is down thats why its not working.

I didn't want to hold up the queue so I told them to leave it and just ordered something else. A few seconds after that I asked if I could just change that item to the same item but different flavour and she rudely told me No. Even after they wasted my time by failing to fulfill the promotion, they couldnt make this small concession for me. Yet, with another customer, she was happy to shout to the back to say what he wanted. I won't visit this story again, the staff are ******** and rude. To KFC management, its pointless advertising to the whole country about a promotion when your own staff have no idea of whats going on. Tell your staff about it first before the rest of SA.
