Extremely poor value for money

<p>So last night, we decided to use the kfc in strand (ok centre, gordons bay drive). Frist of all, we could not find a suitable meal, we are a family of 3, 6 pieces of chicken and one large chips is more than enough, we don't have large dinners. Streetwise 5 is too little and there used to be streetwise 7, but no more. So a SW 5 is R75 + add a piece of chicken and it's R90, which to my opinion is rediculous. Then we considered the option of the 6 pieces of chicken with 3 brea****ls (which I think tastes disgusting), but then you only get gravy, no mash - yuk and no chips, my 3yo wants chips. So then we were actually forced to buy the 6-piece family meal for R140 - such a waste of money. The deal advertised 2 large chips, we got 2 half a packets of chips, COLD - I mean if you pay for something whether you want it or not, you must still get it, there's a lot of hungry people I could give it to, but now it's going to the owner of Strand KFC's pocket. The chicken were definitely fried way to long as the dough around it was like chewing stones and it smelled terrible. The coleslaw had no carrot in. This was probably the worst meal ever, go to mcdonalds, you can swop and change your meal where they advise you of the extra charge which is usually not much and their food is ALWAYS FRESH - I am totally discgusted. Because of the location that kfc probably don't need my money, but when I spoke of it this morning to my work colleagues, all of them agreed that Strand KFC are the WORST ever to buy food from. Totally put off. Maybe you should look at new management or something or new staff, I don't know, but your food is TERRIBLE, I work way too hard to spend it on such disgusting food. </p>
