Dry Chicken- The whole 21 pieces

We usually have our monthly catch up at KFC Oribi Plaza, because of the freshness of the meat. However, the meat was too dry, at first we thought as it was 21 pieces it was one or 2 pieces however all the 10 of us complained about how hard, and dry it was. We complained to the manager, who went to the back and gave us back 11 pieces and claimed that we should not have eaten it. I wonder manager how would we know that your chicken was dry. I wonder 🤨 if this was deliberately given to us as we bought 21 pieces. Really disappointed about the whole lot not in an acceptable standard.
