Dry and burnt chicken

I bought 3 street wise meals ,2 of which were chips ,and the third one was pap.It was a take away.The lady was very friendly .To my disappointment ,, the chicken pieces were very small, especially the wings ,or winglets,they were literally burnt , with a mark of a fryer ,asif the piece was sitting at the bottom of the frying basket ,not fit to be on my take away box.The meat tasted old , dry and tough.I was disappointed ,but unfortunately I had left the area already as it was a take away.They were not up to standard at all.What was the reason for this? All three boxes ?
