Dissatisfied consumer---KFC Broad Street

I walked into KFC Broad Street to purchase hot chicken wings this morning(28-12-2018). On receiving the wings I noticed that the sizes of the wings were very small. Generally you get 2 big pieces and 2 small ones. I called for the branch manager(Zandile) who took about 7 minutes to come and attend to my problem. On arrival she was very grumpy, no smile, never greet and seemed disinterested in sorting my problem.

I explained the situation to her and all she could tell me is that the KFC suppliers sent the hot wing pieces in the small sizes. I asked her why does the pieces differ in sizes from other KFC branches. She just blatantly ignored me. I requested for my order to be cancelled and requested for a hot chocolate instead. She seemed disinterested in sorting my issue and eventually cancelled the hot wings order. Cashier took her own time in processing my new order, the one staff then gives me one sugar sachet for my hot chocolate and she tells me that the hot chocolate already as sugar. I requested for 3 sachets of sugar and told her I am paying for the hot chocolate and have a right to request the amount of sugar I want in my drink.

I was very annoyed with her response and attitude. I have a right as a client to be treated fair and with respect as per the Treat your Clients Fairly act and the customer protection act. The tables in this branch was not wiped from the previous night. The food from the previous night was stuck to the tables and the eating area was not swepted. This is very unhygienic conditions to eat in.

KFC is a reputable brand who set high standards when it comes to the food they serve their consumers. This KFC branch does not come close to these standards and I am very disappointed with the treatment I received and the quality of food they serve. Their toilets are also not very clean and there's a strong odour in the air. The last time their toilets was inspected according to the checklist was on Tuesday(25-12-2018).

How do your serve or expect consumer to eat in such terrible unhygienic conditions.
