Disrespected at KFC Musgrave

I was quite disappointed about the service I received from KFC Musgrave on Friday 08 February 2019. This place used to be the best. Perhaps you need to relook rotating your staff. They seem to be too comfortable and get bored easily and cannot stand pressure. This does not apply to all of them though, some are very awesome and provide excellent service especially the guy who was on duty last Friday. He kept coming to check if I have been assisted. It might have amazed him to see a customer waiting for that long for a piece of meat.

So I was punished by this lady for exercising my freedom of choice. My order was 1 streetwise mix and 2 variety lunchboxes. When my order arrived, I realized that it was only drumsticks for all the 3 meals. I then asked the lady why am I getting drumsticks only and not a single big peace. She said I should have stated as I placed the order. I find that to be very much taking chances as there are a variety of pieces there and at least one of my meals should have had a big piece without me having to state that. I then asked her to change the meat and give me bigger pieces. She just looked at me and attended other customers. I stood there and after serving 2 customers she took my food and went to the back. I then asked the cashier to tell her that she must please not put the breast on the meal if she is helping me. The cashier just glanced at me. The lady came back and put the food in front of me and uttered no word and left. I opened the food and realized that there was a breast. I then said to the cashier “now you understand why I asked you to tell her not to put a breast and you just ignored me”, then she said there are only 2 drumsticks and this breast at the back and nothing else. She then said the meat will be ready after 15 minutes. To my surprise, when I got here, they told each customer that the meat will be ready after 20 minutes and 20 minutes came and passed and the customers got their meat. I said I will wait even though I saw that there was meat at the back that came out of the oven for the first 20 minutes ago. I just kept quiet. I waited for an extra 10 minutes and 4 customers who came after me were served and got their order before me without even waiting. It went quiet for a while and another lady came for streetwise 2 and she was served immediately. This confirmed that these 2 girls are out to teach me a lesson. They just looked at me and the one who went to the back never came back. That’s how less busy it was. When a gentlemen came and gave me my order, the cashier stopped her and he took it back saying it is not mine. Yet I was the only one standing there. I then asked this cashier, how much more should I wait, she said 15 more minutes. In my life I have never waited for chicken for more than 45 minutes. I then told her to keep their food as I was leaving and I left my food and had to buy elsewhere. I was not even supposed to pay a parking ticket because my aim was to go to KFC, buy dinner and leave. I found myself going over the time.

Honestly, we do not have time to entertain silly girls who are out to prove to customers who they are and what they are capable of. I go there to get food and not to be disrespected and be made a spectacle by some amateur girls. This is not the first encounter with this store. Which goes to show that the management agrees with this behavior. I phoned the store several times on the same day and there was no response. To this day, no response. I am a black person, but I would still advise that you consider adding new faces to the store including different races.
