Displeased and hungry customers

Every time we go on holiday we stop at Pletteberg Bay KFC to buy food for average 4 people (which is about 6-8 times per term). In the past we have felt that the bathrooms have not been very clean, but felt happy return because of the good food and fast service! After tonight, however, we will not return to KFC Plettenberg Bay. At 8 o'clock the cashier first told us that they are out of chips and Krushers, after adjusting our order he returned from the back and told us that we could only have classic Twisters or certain pieces of chicken. When asked why we can't have the things we ordered, he told us that they are almost closing and therefore most of the food is out of stock for today. I can't see how this is a valid excuse 2 hours before closing time. If this is the service we get, we will adjust our route gladly in order to go somewhere where we will get better service.
