Disgusting customer service.

At about 6:30 this morning, I rolled up to the Newton Park KFC knowing that they would try to give me old food. I specifically asked for it all to be made fresh, again, because I knew they would try to pass me old food.

I ordered a zinger boxmaster meal, 4 zinger wings and a medium pops. I paid and was told to go to the second window.

I waited 2 minutes at the second window before my food was handed to me.

When I got home, the only fresh item was the pops (and they were ****** amazing).

To say that the other items were foul would be an understatement. The wings and the zinger fillet in the boxmaster were literally like chicken-brittle. It was completely solid and broke apart like a mint when biting into it. They must have been about 2 hours old (at least).

I sent a complaint message via the KFC site and later received an ominous call from the customer service department (about 4 hours later). This lady asked me if I kept the old food on hand. When I said I hadn't she said, in a very doubting voice "you didn't keep the food." and then told me that I should hang on to it next time so that I can get a refund.

Who the hell hangs on to (AT LEAST) 6 hour old food????? Also, anyone could do anything to make it seem older than it is, like, I don't know: leave it under a heat lamp for 2 hours.

All I'm taking away from this is that I'm being called a ****.
