Did not reverse transaction

On 15.04.2016 between 6 pm and 6.30 pm I went to KFC Bellville drive through they experienced issues with their card machine. I have an absa chip card, i did the transaction and on the handheld terminal it reflected that the transaction was successfull. The clerk (3 of them - male and 2 females) were all struggling with the machine to print. The slip of the person infront of me who's card was also swiped about 3 times only printed when I was there and they already left. They were adament that the transaction was declined and then swiped my card ... The machine reflected 2nd attempt. I asked them what is going to happen when it went through the first time and the man said it will be automatically reversed. In the second attempt they again informed me that it was not successfull. I had my 4 year old and 1 year old in the car, they were both crying at this stage as there was a man in a tuscon behind us that kept on hooting as we were all waiting for longer than 30 minutes. <br> <br> Absa: TJEK4882, 15/04/16 KFC BELLVILE BELLVIL het R218.50 gereserveer vir 'n aankoop.I received this notification this morning I then phoned KFC Bellville and I was told that I have to proof payment.
