Demage to my vehicle!
I can't even type due to the level of frustration I have! On the 9th of December 2017 at around 22h41 I drove to the KFC Engen (Liliba) in Tembisa. I parked my car & went in to place an order. A few minutes in, a gentleman came in running to notify me that my car had been hit by a white Quantum written "Staff bus". In shock, I quickly went out to assess the damage. I was met by a huge dent on the rear left side of my car! The culprit was nowhere in site.
I ran in to the store to get the manager. I spoke to a lady by the name of "Abra". I asked her for the footage so that we can identify the perpetrator. We both went out to their parking area to inspect the damage. We identified the camera that would have captured the incident. She said I should come back the following morning, she will check the footage for me. The next morning, I was at the premises at 06h00. I waited for her shift to start at 8h00. When she got there, she went to the back to check the footage. A few minutes later she came back & said their cameras need a code, so she will go to their Head office the following day ****h of December 2017) to go & get it. We exchanged numbers & I left.
On the 12th of December 2017 I called, texted & whatsapped her to no avail. Today. 14th December 2017, I looked up the store number on Google. I called them on ********** , the number doesn't exist. I am beyond disappointed in the turn of events. I am now left with damages to my vehicle that nobody has accounted for. Our vehicles are not safe in these parking lots, & the companies that own these properties are doing nothing to bring justice to the customer. How do you go into an establishment to spend a couple of Rands & leave with hundreds of Rands worth of damage? KFC has ZERO regard for their customers! As for brand loyalty, you have definitely lost me & my family!
