Cheated out of airtime/data by KFC and Vodacom!

Not good KFC! Recently visited my local KFC where I saw a sign that promised 200mb airtime/data if you bought chicken for R100 or more. Did so and gave the cashier my cellphone number. She proceeded to enter it on the till. I got a message on my phone that said "Congratulations, you have been awarded 200mb data for 1 day". My airtime had run out earlier in the week so my balances were R 0.00 airtime and 0 mb data. I didn't see any airtime/data added. Got home, checked again, still no data.

Got an SMS at 01:00 that morning: "Your data on 072**** has run out."

Great stuff KFC and Vodacom! I'm sure the internal agreement you have with each other is reaping the rewards you expect (profit in your pockets) and it's not costing either one of you a cent. After all, why give out precious airtime if you don't need to?
