Burned chicken

We bought chicken at this outlet several times and it was the worst kfc we ever tasted. My children even complained about the chicken. It tasted like burned chicken but it was not burned, my guess is that it was cooked in old oil or there is something very wrong. We even went back weeks after but stil the same burned taste.
