Bad service

visited KFC Small Street, Johannesburg, on the 26th of March 2025 to dine in and purchased the Big Six Deal. The restaurant has dining areas on both the top and bottom floors. When I arrived, the top floor was fully packed, and I saw a sign that said, “Have a seat downstairs.” I went downstairs, found a seat, and settled in.

A few minutes later, a staff member approached me and rudely informed me that customers were not allowed to sit downstairs. I explained that I had seen the sign and mentioned the crowded top floor, but she insisted I go back upstairs and wait for a free table.

This experience was incredibly frustrating, especially because I am heavily pregnant and had used my energy to go downstairs, only to be told to go back up. The lack of empathy and poor communication about where customers are allowed to sit left me deeply disappointed with the service.

I hope the management can address this issue to ensure a more accommodating and respectful experience for all customers in the future.
