Bad service!
Yesterday I was bul****, humiliated, abody shamed and called fat by KFC staff at Pavilion mall. (KFC SOUTH AFRICA) I was standing in the queue with my mom minding my own business when 3 female KFC staff shouting and pointing fingers at me in a very rude manner telling me to get out of the queue because I was pregnant. They were screaming at the top of their lungs. I obviously didn't realise that they are talking to me as I am not Pregnant but big. The lady (who works at KFC) in front of me had to tap my shoulder to alert me that they are talking to me. The whole store started looking at me as I obviously looked confused. I moved to the side and what confused me even more was that there was an obviously smaller woman who was pregnant standing behind me. But they said nothing to this lady. I felt so small and ostracised in that moment. I don't think I will be able to go to any KFC yet because of the humiliation I experienced today What still shocks me is that the pregnant lady was not called out and asked to stand on one side. Is it because I am FAT? does KFC have something against fat people? or is it normal for every fat person to be called out and asked to stand on one side? I am a customer like everyone else I should not be treated differently because of the way I look. KFC needs to train their staff to treat everyone who walks into the store the same way. In a society where we have been socialised to see "one beauty standard" weight is a sensitive issue. As a bigger black woman you are treated differently in our society. I should never have to feel embarrassed and emotionally traumatised because of what I weigh on the scale.
KFC customer service was just so disgusting, poor and lacking good customer service and very bad management. I will shout scream and be heard just like they embarrassed me in front of every one sies!
