Bad Service

<p>To whom it may concern</p> <p> </p> <p>Me and my husband aren’t very well off to buy take aways on a regular basis. If we do, then its slap chips and vienna’s.</p> <p> </p> <p>Last night I gave the kids the opportunity to decide what they want for take aways (as I got a bonus and wanted to treat them). They chose KFC. Alright then!!</p> <p> </p> <p>At +-18:40 I called the KFC and ordered a Family Feast 10pc with the 3 sides, Mash and Gravy, Loafs and the buns along with a 2L coke for delivery. As the wind was picking up and it seemed like it would rain I offered to collect if they don’t want to take the chance. The guy said, not to worry, if there is a problem they will give me a call. It will take about 45min as he has only one driver. I said its fine. </p> <p> </p> <p>It started to rain heavily, so I waited for my call so that we can go collect. No calls. At about 19:30 I called to find out if the driver has left as its past 45min and we don’t have food. The guy confirmed my address and it was incorrect and I corrected it with him. He then said I must remember it is raining and the said to him that I offered to collect and that he said that he will leave it for delivery and that he will call me to collect if needed. I have kids to feed!! He then said to me that he does not see our order so it should be with the driver. He will call me back. 10 – 15 minutes passed and I received no call back. I then phoned them back AGAIN!! I told them to leave it. We then ordered Domino’s Pizzas at about 20H00 and it was delivered within 25 minutes.</p> <p> </p> <p>Yes, I had to pay more for our meal at the end of the day, but at least my kids were fed!! This is poor service from a very popular franchise.</p>
