Keyworx property Witbank is the worst estate agency possible. The owner only cares about money and how to enrich herself, paid rent faithfully each month paid my deposit which was 3900 plus a key deposit of 300 plus a cleaning deposit of 1500, which by the way i moved into a filthy dirty place nothing was cleaned that the supposed 1500 cleaning deposit that i paid for. And also a utility deposit of 300 which adds to a total of 6000 rand oh did i forget also a lease fee of 1500 which is way more than your average 10% commission for a property that costs 3900 per month!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was problems for me from the get go upon moving in on the landlord/ principal of the property/agency. At first the rental agent which will remain unknown agreed upon 3 people to the property, then the owner who was not allowed to make personal contact did so. She threatened to raise the rent by a 3rd which she could not do cause ot was ********. Not that this was a batchelor flat. The owner eventually agreed cause the agent did agree upon 3 tenants after a huge back and forth quarrel. Then the real trouble started. At firt for the first 3 months we did no pay electricity cause her municipal meters werent functioning it may have been breached even. Then one month she decided to start charging electricity which is fair cause it is a utility being used but she took advantage of it and overcharged me by alot with elec meter readings. Who here thinks that being billed R 2000 for a batchelor flat that only has a stove and bar fridge no tvs, no heaters no washing machines for a batchelor flat. Then eventually after 6 months i have had enough of this NONsense, and gave 1 month notice by law. What lead to me giving notice is that i was exuberently charged and then disputed the usage and the owner refused to even look into my dispute and eventually had one of her electricians that has no red seal to connect and disconnect municipal meter we had agreed on 900 and i paid 900 for electricity after i had no electricity for nearly 2 weeks lost all my meat amd she just dont care about it. The i gave notice and i could not find alternative accomodation until one day before i was supposed to move i told her that i would pay the 1 day pro rata but jow she refused to pay back my 6000 deposit plus rent she **** saying i refused to move which is a lie cause i could wait to be rid of her and also **** and said i refused to pay electricity which is also a lie cause i have whatsapp proof with the owner stating otherwise. Everyone who has problems with this agency, please do yourself a favour and go to the ppra housing board lay a complaint and also google the rental housing tribunal and complain there. No agent or agency principal is above the rental law as this woman thinks she is!!!!!!!!! STAY FAR AWAY FROM KEYWORX PROPERTY, SPARE YOURSELF A STROKE CAUSE THIS PLACE CAUSED ME A STROKE AT THE AGE OF 28 BECAUSE OF THEIR DEVIOUSNESS.
