*****, unauthorized debit order. Bank does nothing

There seems to be a couple of people that have been a victim of this company and I am one of them. I have done some research and Keydirect is based in the USA and regulated by the FDIC. No ways us South Africans could have authorized this. Nedbank is useless tells me I have to call Keydirect! Like I am going to give my personal information to them.... We can take action on Keydirect and the parent company KeyCorp by submitting a complaint to the FDIC in the USA. Hopefully they will revoke their license to operate.

I have sent one in and this is a sample of what I wrote:

I wish to report Keydirect, a member of the FDIC, parent company Keycorp as a ********** company targeting South Africans. Here are a couple reviews from people who have had unauthorized debit orders on hellopeter, a popular complaint site https://www.hellopeter.com/keydirect myself included.

They have ongoing debit orders through people's accounts, taking small amounts (less than $10 per month) so that people would not notice. The banks in South Africa put the onus on the account holder to call keydirect instead of investigating these withdrawals. Keydirect is located in the USA and I am apprehensive to call them as I would have to relay private information to them.

Resolution: Shut down the company and all of it's subsidiaries. Revoke their License.
