Worst Medical Aid that doesn't value client service. and don't care about its members - Stay away.

I joined Key health earlier this year, the service is very disappointing and will urge anyone reading this review to consider any other medical aid, if you read all the reviews the below the standard service you get from Key health speaks for itself. Shortly after my waiting period I experienced symptoms I have never had before as I was now able to use the Medical Aid, I decided to see a Doctor - the Doctor then referred me to a specialist and the nightmare with Key health started- They treatment I received was more in line of what a ******** would receive standing in court with one no disclose form after the other. Being a honest human being I found it very hard as you were asked to disclose all pervious conditions the condition, I didn't disclose was for Oratane 20mg which I requested from the Dr as I wanted to use it to try and clear my skin, obviously the treatment worked and I didn't feel the need to disclose- the funny thing is that the condition I was refed to the specialist for was not even related to any previous condition. Key health dragged their feet and as mentioned before one no disclose request after the other.

It's now 2 weeks later and they still haven't had the decency to get back to me. I strongly feel that I do have a valid case and will refer this to the ombudsman as well. However, when you need to pay the Medical Aid, they are very quick to collect their debit order, but when you in serious pain and need a medical aid, they are full of stories and treat you like a ********.

This is one medical aid you need to say away from, what a pity I didn't read the reviews before joining.

Good day Team Key Health,

Thank you for acknowledging the complaint.

I am very happy that we keep this communication open and transparent, I would like the public to see how my case was treated, I also believe that the onus is now on Keyhealth to prove that I was dishonest in seeking medical help after experiencing symptoms that was not experienced before, leaving myself a paying member in pain for over 3 weeks as the medical aid was unable to provide me with assistance when I need it.

I am 100% confident that Keyhealth deliberately dragged their feet to assist with this case and looking forward to your feedback.

Once again thanks for the feedback provided, the point of sharing my case with the public on a platform like Hello Peter was to assist other potential clients, a trust rating that is just over 3 out of 10 doesn't say much about the service Keyhealth has to offer. I regret not using a platform like Hello Peter to investigate how members are treated and can assure you that I did read all the reviews I would have rather gone with another Medical Aid. In conclusion Keyhealth failed to provide any feedback after requesting one non disclose request after the other, only after a complaint on this platform I received a response to an email that was sent over two weeks ago. The highlight of this complaint was SMS a few min later to inform me that my membership has been canceled. Please do your homework and investigate everything before joining Key Health.
