Think twice before joining Keyhealth Medical Aid.

28 Years and never so much bull as in the last year but the worst the last two weeks. Don't believe their promises in their advertising. They don't care about you they only trying to line their bank balance with your money.

I have been seriously ill the last 2 weeks. They decline hospital treatment even under orders from a specialist. 3 hours delay in receiving critical intravenous administration of medicines to stabilize me. My wife made payment plans to get me admitted. Two days later they all of a sudden give hospital authorisation far to late in regards to the medical treatment I needed.

I am booked for major surgery next week needing two Specialist Surgeon and ICU treatment and general ward for a while.

Low and behold they only approve a GP Assistance and a day ward.

This complete and utter dismay of a members health and wellness that he pays for quite expensively is something to vomit about.

Do your homework, speak to doctor's rooms, x-ray department and then make sure you choose right but think hard and long when making a decision on joining Keyhealth with all the bells and whistles they promise. 31 December 2018 can not come fast enough so I can find a new medical aid that actually have its members health as a priority.
