A faceless company with no empathy for old people after being a member for 34 years After appealing to Key Health to reconsider my mothers medical membership they still refuse - saying Memeber resigned !!

A faceless company with no empathy for old people. Last year my dad passed away aged 92. During this time of mourning and covid restrictions, my 87-year-old mom forgot to pay the medical aid contributions as they were previously done via stop order on my dad's banking account. his account was closed after his passing. Key health stopped her membership with these words in an e mail, ''we accept your resignation from the fund'' ????? all efforts from my side to speak to a member of management were in vain as you only get to the call center and that's where the buck stops. Key health seems to be a faceless company with no empathy at all - especially frail old people. they were members since 1986. They got a chance to get rid of an OLD person who might cost them money in the years to come despite her being a member since 1986. No empathy for the elderly. This decision is all about money - customer care does not feature at all.

My Mom now received a letter threatening her with legal action if she does not pay R1600.00 for services Key health paid for after she "resigned" ?????
