Keyhealth Medical, a pathetic **** medical aid

I switched over from Discovery Medical aid to this useless medical aid on the 1st July 2023, worst decision I've ever made in my life!!!

This year on the 8th January 2024 I woke up with 1 side of my face and body swollen and numb , rushed to my GP who examined me and could not give a diagnosis, he mentioned symptoms of bells palsy but he said he doesn't want to take any chances and that I need to rush to hospital... Rushed over to Bedford Gardens, they follow all the necessary procedures, which the rudest consultant they were dealing with from keyhealth was giving them a hard time before authorizing, this consultant demanded to speak to me and began questioning me even though the Dr sent a report and they told this guy everything, he then tells me if this is previous medical issues they will not cover me.. Which it was not!!!

Fast forward to end of April, beginning of May 2024.. I am now getting claim statements rejecting all the hospital Dr's claims, no ****en explanation or calls from them, just a reason on the statement, internal audit!!!

Keyhealth medical aid is the biggest **** and should be shut down!!! I will forward this ****ery to the Medical aid ombudsman for further investigation
