Keyhealth doesn't cover Melanoma/Skin cancer if it's not removed via an operation/in hospital.

I was diagnosed with Melanoma/Skin cancer in January 2024. I went for an operation to get a wider excision done as per Lancet pathology result s. I went for my 6 months check-up as they advise you do. Three suspicious moles where remove, once which was on my scar where the original cancer was. Pathology came back after the biopsies where sent. The Melanoma/Skin cancer was back. I was referred by the doctor who had the biopsy done to a surgeon who then made a wider excision again but this time in his office. They did not cover the doctor who did the biopsies (after the medical aid knew about the Melanoma due to the procedures) R2 200. They did not cover the surgeon R2000. They did not cover any of the lancet test even though the ICD codes stated it was Melanoma/ Skin cancer, I received an sms from Lancet stating they put a claim in and it was rejected (No record on my medical aid or claim acknowledgement) R10 358 not covered. PLEASE TELL ME WHY SKIN CANCER IS NOT COVERED?! IS IT NOT A GOOD ENOUGH CANCER?? Why am I not covered for this...but when it was done in hospital you paid. Trust me when I say to be laying on a bed and to be cut and stitched in total 7 times and then to recover. Just to see I pay a medical aid that doesn't cover skin cancer and the doctor who helped me so that it doesn't spread. Really disappointed.
