Val Ludgrove Estates - What a miserable and costly experience!

<p>I booked a three day getaway with Keurbooms river lodge in Plettenberg bay through Val Ludgrove estates. I paid R390 cleaning fee, a R500 breakage deposit, a R114 dstv connection fee and R35 per day for the dstv. Upon departure we dropped off the keys with Val Ludgrove and the following Monday I emailed them to ask for the breakage deposit refund to be paid back to me, only to be told by Ms Val Ludgrove that they don't owe me anything since my bedding bill came to R630. Since when do a place charge you for bedding per kilo. Apparently the bedding came to 21kg x R30 = R630. </p> <p>This is unbelievable! So I paid R1020 for cleaning. I just find that extremely dissapointing and unheard of. I have stayed at many places all over South Africa, but this was a first for me!</p> <p>I will never, ever as long as I live stay at Keurbooms River Lodge. I advise anyone who is comtemplating staying there, to please first find out about all the hidden costs, because it can become a very costly cleaning experience. Lindy</p>
