After being referred to the Ketamind Clinic in Hilton for the treatment of chronic pain from fibromyalgia, I have been left with more severe nerve pain and headaches, flashbacks, anxiety and depression. If I was on a 6/10, I'm now on a 2/10. During my last appointment, the equipment was not working. I requested the infusion be stopped but was ignored. The resultant experience was severely traumatic and has had long term negative effects. There is no accountability and the director stopped answering my emails. As a result, I posted the post below but was immediately blocked from their Facebook account.

What Ketamind Clinics won't tell you: 1. You may leave considerably more traumatised than you started. 2. Your treatment may lead to severe cluster migraines, nausea, flashbacks and dizziness for weeks afterwards. 3. When you raise a complaint, they may tell you that this 'seldom happens' 4. And no, they won't refund your R15 000 even though the failure if their equipment and their negligence may have led to untold suffering. 5. That the cost of the ketamine for your R2655 session is R29, so it is possible that they are dealing Special K at high profit while throwing in a comfy armchair (your doctor may even tell you to 'enjoy the ride!') 6. That the treatments may change the way your meds work (for chronic pain and/or depression) Please ... be very, very careful of these clinics. They may be helping some but this treatment is experimental and high risk.
