Do NOT use Kenya Airways - old worn-out planes and terrible service!!!

Just returned from a return-trip from South Africa to Senegal with Kenya Airways. The plane used to travel (for over 10 hours) from Dakar to Nairobi was old (window shutters broken/ worn-out seats were hard and very uncomfortable/ no screen) and disgusting (seats and carpets were dirty). Flight attendants were very rude, unfriendly, and unhelpful and the meals were terrible! Arrival in Nairobi we had to get on a bus to transport us to the terminal and after everyone was on the bus the doors would not close and we all had to get off the bus and then left waiting on the runway for 20min before another bus came to collect us. The security check was so slow and inefficient with long ques of people waiting – took us more than 30min just to get thru. Then after getting thru there was no information on the screens which gate our plan to South Africa would be boarding from – it was chaotic with lots of people running around trying to figure out where to go. The staff at the gate checking everyone’s COVID tests were rude and unfriendly – they seemed miserable and like they hated their jobs! Terrible experience and will NEVER travel again with Kenya Air!
