KENWOOD home appliances not what they used to be!

Bought an expensive KENWOOD food processor FOUR months ago Was away for one month so only been using it for three months. Lid already cracking. KENWOOD says they only guarantee the motor so “sorry for you... buy a replacement lid”! How bad is this. Be warned the Kenwood products of today are cheap and nasty and not what they used to be!
