Fryer Basket Flaw

My wife received a Kenwood Air Fryer Birthday gift from our children in November 2022. The black coating of the Air Fryer Basket started coming off since August/September 2023. After months of searching I finally was able to speak with someone at Kenwood. In the conversation with this person I heard that they recently replaced someone else's Basket. So they were aware of the problem. Now they refuse to replace our Frying Basket just because we don't have the invoice. All that I know is that the Kenwood Air Fryer was bought online from Hirsch's in October 2022. I think it is a disgrace that they are not prepared to accept responsibility of the factory flaw. We have a Russel & Hobbs Sandwich Toaster for more than 10 years and the black coating still looks like new with no chips or scratches. It shows that the quality is superb. Surely that is what Kenwood would like to present.
