Don't expect the return of your deposit!

I have to say the service when booking the vehicle was great, even the collection and return went smoothly. Just do not expect to get your deposit back. I returned the vehicle on 25 September 2023, I am writing this on 14 December 2023 and have still not received my deposit back. I have seen replies to other reviews here where they stipulate in their terms and conditions that it could take up to 21 days to return the deposit. Surely anyone who can count can see they are lying. After multiple emails and calls, the only answer I get is: "The return was requested, and I have to contact the merchant". When I ask for proof I get told the bank does not supply proof, written or otherwise, for the deposit return. I am sick and tired of useless excuses, can only hope a Christmas miracle happens and I get my deposit back.
