Worst Experience I've encountered.

Terrible experience with the after hours vet that was working on call 2 Saturday nights back. We had to rush my boyfriend's poor diabetic cat, buttons at 1:30 am on Saturday to Kempton Hospital as it was the closet emergency hospital nearest to Benoni. The vet arrived late after phoning him in advanced for help, then he arrived at the practice and sat on his phone in the car for 5 minutes before attending to us. He was totally unfriendly and unsympathetic. The poor cat was having a series of fits whilst crying in distress and defecating everywhere and the vet didn't even bother to attend to buttons until payment was made. Now as a veterinary nurse myself and i felt the service provided was unacceptable! The vet grunted at me after i mentioned i was a vet nurse (and offered to help) whilst i pointed out the cat was busy seizuring!! He eventually took us to the back and ran the necessary tests. Unfortunately we had to put Buttons down. After the VERY poor attitude and service we received i would NEVER recommend anyone using Kempton Hospital for it's emergency services again. To the vet who saw us, sir you should not be in this industry if you are only after the money and are going to be such a pompous, unfriendly *****.
