Brake discs replaced with worn out ones

I took my car in for a major service. The consultant called me to confirm everything that was broken or that needed to be fixed and she mentioned that the break pads, amongst other things needed to be replaced. I agreed and they proceeded to service the car. After I picked up the car I left for Joburg and noticed that the breaks had a sound whenever I stepped on them. I took th he car to Ford at The Glen and they told me that the break discs had been skimmed too much and had actually been damaged and have a crack. I notified a consultant at Kempster Ford Durban and he promised to get his boss to call me back. It has been 4 days and I haven't received a call yet. I now can't drive my car and have to pay over R2500 for something that was not faulty to begin with.
