Pathetic after sales - Fairly new Washing machine and no parts in country

<p>Stay away, new model still being sold by all mayor retailers and already being advised by all mayor appliance spares companies i.e. TECSSA and Van Biljoens etc. that some of the parts has been discontinued.</p> <p> </p> <p>Bought a 6KG Front Loader Washing machine around 2 years ago and from the start the door latch/sensor unit wasn't working so well. Washing machine quite often doesn't detect that the door is actually closed. Also after only a few month I had to replace the drain pump. It's now 2 years later and we are lucky to get a load going after struggling for almost an hour opening/closing the door to actually detect it's closed and start washing. Also the water doesn't drain properly again, clothes still complletely wet after a load.</p> <p> </p> <p>SInce all mayor spares places doesn't have stock of the door latch/sensors as well as being advised that parts has been discontinued I phoned Kelvinator directly just to be advised they will only have stock in middle October. Completely rediculous Kelvinator, how can you sell a product if you don't even have stock of the spares which is apparently known to go faulty on your products. Pathetic!!!</p>
