Kelston Motor Group PE played a major role in destroying a woman's life

Kelston Motor Group PE played a major role in destroying a woman's life. Her husband, the sole income earner between the retiree-aged couple, died suddenly and traumatically 6 months ago. The estate process has been a nightmare. She had to sell her at-the-time car because she couldn't maintain it without her husband's help. So she found a new one about 4 months ago which would better suit her new circumstances, a small win in a horrifying situation. A few weeks ago, this car was smashed from the back by a Kelston employee, driving a client's car no less, because he was driving too fast and not concentrating on the road. The woman was not at fault, the employee was. That employee endangered that woman's life and heavily impacted her emotionally and financially. While Kelston cooperated with insurance, insurance chose to write off the woman's car because it would cost nearly as much to fix it as to write it off. However, they paid R20'000 less than what the car was bought for just a few months before. Kelston came off absolutely unscathed, which is an intolerable injustice. They claimed in the beginning that they would assist by finding her a decent car for the amount the insurance would pay, but had to be badgered to get any feedback over the following weeks, and told her in an ice-cold tone that SHE must wait, and that was it. She had to move to a different city shortly, to be with the only family she had left. She had lost her husband, a car, the life she knew, the financial stability she had, everything. And SHE had to acquiesce to THEIR timetable. She has given up on getting their assistance, and found a car that still leaves her at a substantial loss. A last resort. In actual fact, what Kelston should do is pay the difference between what she paid for that smashed car and what insurance gave her for it. That would be justice, as THEY are responsible for what happened to the car, entirely. But it's not a just world. So at the absolute rock-bottom least, they should lose the trust of their customers. I hope this helps achieve that. This woman is my mother, and I am beyond furious.
