Damaged parts and bad customer service

I own a Peugeot 407 3l v6. I had a leaking oil problem so took the vehicle to the Kelston Motor Group in Port Elizabeth. The vehicle needed a crank shaft seal replaced and a new timing belt. This cost around R13 000 which I paid.

Within 5 minutes of collecting the vehicle the car displayed an engine warning light about depollution engine failure and the entire vehicle was shaking. I took the vehicle straight back to the Kelston Group only to receive another bill for R 6700 to replace iginition coils and spark plugs. I find this hard to believe that these parts have all of a sudden become faulty when the technicians were working on my vehicle. To make matters worse the worshop manager Renier Van Huysteen has not sense of customer service and informed me that they will not be held responsible, and suggested I replace only 3 coils, when the original quote specified 6. I think Renier is as confused on the matter as I am, and no one at the Port Elizabeth group knows what is going on.

Due to this event I will no longer be supporting the Peugeot brand, and would rather spend my money elsewhere.

I urge all members of the Eastern Cape community to be very careful when dealing with the Kelson Motor group
