CADDY CREW BUS : ****** WEAPON
THE BELOW INCIDENT DID HAPPEN ON THE 20TH AUGUST 2020 WHICH I SEND TO VW SA. My VW Caddy 2017 model was two times at Tavcor PE for the brakes that makes a sound occasionally. I has a huge concern because my wife and two daughter life’s is at risk and decided to take the vehicle where we purchase it.
On arrival two weeks ago I explain to the service Market Square Uitenhage that the vehicle was two times at Tavcor PE and decide to bring it here for second option and we purchase the vehicle by Market Square Uitenhage. The Service provider Meagon contact us and inform us that it’s the chain that is fasten to secure the spare wheel. I told her that it’s impossible but will remove the chain. I requested to put it on report which she refuses. Before leaving I ask can I submit a voice note if it makes a sound and will it be sufficient evidence, she rep**** “ yes”. We provide her with the voice note and on arrival she say it’s not accepted I must test drive with technician. I drive with the technician the car makes the sound. The technician inform me all the cars makes so and maybe its dust. I rep**** “what you tell me now doesn’t make sense because how can a car of 3 years old make a sound and my old car when it makes a sound there is something I must replace, I ask him why didn’t you see the dust a week ago when the vehicle was there for inspection so it’s clear you didn’t check it properly. The technician discuss with Meagon which she give me the same information. I tell Meagon last week that she inform me it’s the chain, today you tell me any car makes that sound and the car 3 years old. Meagon deny what she tell us a week ago. Due to all the lies of the service provider and technician, I was frustrated and tell meagon I put you on hellopeter.
On my way home I receive a call from Wilma Du Toit (Service Manager) on her cellphone and talk to me like a dog. I inform her of her subordinates that is lying and change stories she throw a deaf hear and ask her is that ethical behaviour and her subordinates is not confident with what they are doing. She tell me I must come fetch my car now by Market Square UTH and it was book in for the brake sounds. Market Square did return my vehicle as a ****** weapon for wife and two daughters and that is heartless from them. I see that as a ban because they can make notes on the system and where must I take the VW CADDY CREW BUS that stand as a ****** weapon now and my vehicle as throw out by Market Square. How many customers has been told the same thing by Market Square that drive with VW. If a vehicle is push out know there is a brakes problem then according to me it becomes a ****** weapon. When I collect the key I tell Wilma that because Im couloured I receive such treatment. Then the other man I assume to be the owner screamed to me “don’t talk so load on my property” therefore I feel it as a racial attack. The owner and Welma didn’t focus on the core business of repair and service of the vw vehicles they look rather to my attitude. How many people outside driving with faulty vehicles but when you expose them they chase your vehicle out of the workshop. How a company can let a faulty vehicle be collected and it has maintenance plan. Treat us like customers not as the colour of our skin.
Therefore for the above I feel that VW SOUTH AFRICA must be held accountable for this because they are trading under your name and render a service to keep your vehicle safe. The VW maintenance plan you must address so other dealership can assess the vehicles because I have heard that Tavcor and Market Square only see the problems when the maintenance plan expired. VW South Afica I have a manufacture VW Crewbus that I see as a ****** weapon and feel it’s a manufacturing fault because your dealership can’t find the problem.
