I recently purchased a product of Kelloggs all bran flakes within the month. Last week Saturday 17/08 of August I found mould/Fungus in my flakes. It is not physically possible for mould/fungus/ or water to have gotten into the flakes. The mould seems to have spread through out the packaging. Four days later and I am still trying get a response from All bran flakes who have my email address and contact details. Does one have to write and internet review like this to get a response from the company from such a well established brand? I am hoping this review would get the attention of thier customer care. What if this was injested and someone needed medical attention. I believe a matter like this should be dealt with as a matter of urgency. Failing to do so would only as I advised them render me taking the matter further. My child Could have been seriously sick if ingested. If I am correct mould like that would not only make a person critically ill but , you could get serious food poisoning. what of a 3 and half year old child? if this matter is not dealt with severely and appropriately the Matter will be escalated accordingly. Below is my last response to the company.
"Hi Good day. This email is in response to the incidence of product being spoilt. Fungus/mould. Unfortunately I do not have the Box or the the serial number. We normally dispose of packaging after purchase. I can tell you where it was purchased and when, I am assuming your organisation would be able to trace back using purchasing debit card slips and so forth. My wife made the purchase of the product last month. Her details are as follows ***x that is for the purchasing information. I believe some form of investigation would have to be done to ascertain and to trace the product back to purchase. The product can be collected from me or her In capetown CBD. please make contact telepathically to number provided above or via email address ******. Thanking You for your response."
