VERY UNHAPPY FORD OWNER

Good Day,

Last year i was lucky enough to be able to purchase my very first car and after doing my homework i bought a FORD FIGO almost new . I was then and still are now very happy with my decision that i chose Ford. Yesterday morning I realized that there was a problem with the right front cv boot. I phoned Kelfords to arrange for the problem to be looked at when I realized it was cut.

I was told by Lindy that the boot has been purposely cut and therefore is not covered under the warranty. Who in there right mind is going to climb under a car and cut a cv boot, that makes no sense. I purchased Ford because my Father has been a Ford guy for years and also used Kelfords a lot and he told me that they are people that care and have compassion for the vehicles and the customers. Well I was hoping he was right but my bubble was burst when I was told by Lindy that I am not covered.

I am not in anyway happy about this decision.

Hello Rubes069,

Good day Ruben

I think you have mis-interpreted or mis-understood what we have described to you at the dealership.

Yes, your CV boot has been cut BUT we not saying someone (an individual) has cut it. Its accident related damage that could be a result of a stone/ stick that has some how got into a very difficult position to cut the CV boot. This is possible, but its really not a common problem we experience. If it was a manufacturing fault it would be torn and quite noticeable that its a factory fault.

Before posting on places like \Hello Peter\" which you know is very damaging to a brand
