Negligence

We recently had a frustrating experience with Kelford Somerset West while dealing with issues regarding our Ford Tourneo's brakes. After numerous back-and-forths with Ford SA regarding our complaints, we were informed that Kelford Somerset West would re-diagnose the vehicle at our expense. Instead, we opted to take our Ford to another trusted mechanic in the Helderberg area.

To our dismay, upon inspection by the new mechanic, it was discovered that Kelford Somerset West had failed to tighten the lock nuts on all four wheels during a previous repair, less than a week ago This negligence resulted in loose wheels that rattled dangerously, leading to the loss of one wheel lock nut. When we brought this matter to Kelford Somerset West's attention, they showed no accountability for their mistake. Their only response was to offer to order new wheel nuts and replace them.

This incident reflects a lack of attention to detail and customer care on the part of Kelfords Somerset West. As customers who rely on our vehicles for safety and reliability, we were deeply disappointed by their disregard for proper service procedures and their reluctance to take responsibility for their errors.
