Pathetic treatment and judgment!!!

I was at the Keedo/Naartjie franchise to exchange a baby item I had received as a gift for a bigger size because the person bought a small size for my baby. We were denied that, the assistant did not even allow us to explain she proceeded to speak over us and tell us that we needed the gift receipt, even after I suggested I can call the person who bought and have them take a picture or she could call the store the item was bought from, she did not give us the time of day and we felt humiliated and left wondering if it was because of our race because on the exchange policy on google it clearly states that exchanging for a different size is possible without the receipt!
