BAD SERVICE - Stay away from Keageoz Estate Agents...

We have signed, on 30.10.2018, the Lease Agreement for a property which will start 01.12.2018. The house was vacant after 01.11.2018. A proper inspection on 02.11.2018, after we signing the lease reveals, thousands of faults, cracked bathroom basins, broken tiles, broken ceiling, broken lights, Garage door broken locks and door bent. Kitchen tile cracked and kitchen top broken, Security gate main entrance rivet missing and unsafe, The Main entrance gate bent and rusted. We have 79 photos with all these as proof. We informed the "estate agent" that we've deal with Lisinda Visser(no valid EAAB Registration), about all the reasons why we shouldn't move into the house. I've met with Lisinda and left the set of keys with her on 06th of November, to do the necessary arrangements to fix some of the defects as matter of urgency. By the end of the meting she told me that if the owner don't want to fix the broken staff, she will refund my deposit back! We emailed and requested with some photos the Urgent fixes via email sent on 06th of November, to her attention! After couple of days, she send as a voice massage telling as the owner is not in town just to delay as. Immediately after that on 14th of November, we decided to cancel the deal with the KEAGEOZ PROPERTY SOLUTIONS CC and we send the email to her requesting a Lease cancellation and deposit refund. We started the search for other property to rent! We managed to find another place and we asked for the deposit back! First they breached the contract by not fixing the mistakes and broken staff and Estate Agent Lisinda Visser operate without a valid EAAB licence! The principal Johann Cronje, email us on 19th of November, mentioned that they will release the deposit just if they will find another tenant, otherwise I am liable to pay December rental too. We requested the Lease cancellation before this started, and occupation and still liable to pay rent??? We just request the Deposit refund!!!
