Beware of highly inflated invoice
KD Plumbing is organised, freely available at short notice, and make at good impression at first contact. Called in to repair 2 pipes to the shower mixer (which my builder had damaged) they chased through the main water supply to the house. They repaired it, it leaked, they came the next day to repair their repair - and in the end billed me for the whole lot, almost R5000 - to repair 2 pipes. When queried, they dreamed up all sorts of excuses (the pipe they chased through all of a sudden had "pinholes" once, then more "pinholes" requiring a repair to the repair etc. etc.). They just did not own up to the mistake their plumber made.

08 Dec 2021, 13:51Sorry Dietland but you are one of the rudest people we have dealt with and you have work done of a poor standard. Pipes within your wall were Class 0 copper which is inferior and buckled when work was done. We had to open the wall enough and replace what was needed to do the job correctly and you refused to pay for this and claimed we were at fault. We only complete work of a high standard and charge for our time. We wish anybody doing work for you the best of luck in future.
