Damage to goods

The company named KB Furniture Removals transported all of my household goods on Saturday 30/01/2021. My items, which were kept in storage, were transported by KB Furniture Removals from my storage unit, Stor-Age Rooihouskraal, to my new home in Faerie Glen.

Upon inspection of my goods on Sunday 31/01/2021, I discovered that my TV was damaged. I brought this up with the owner, Mischek Kubare.

Mr Kubare was initially willing to fix or replace the tv. I took the tv for assessment, as per his request, and was notified by Samsung that it is irreparable.

I then sent Mr Kubare a link to a replacement tv for him to purchase. The identical model of my tv is no longer sold so I furnished him with a link on the Game Store website to replace my tv with the most recent model.

Mr Kubare then changed his tune and insisted that I am the one who damaged the tv and that his staff members could not have damaged it.

He then sent 4 men to my home yesterday (03/02/2021) despite us agreeing that he would be the one to come to my home to assess the damage.

I am lodging this complain for 2 reasons - 1stly, Mr Kubare is insiting that the damage to the tv was not made by his employees during the transporting of my goods. 2ndly, I am also complaining that he sent 4 men to my home to assess the tv. Mr Kubare's intention appears to me to have been an act of ************. Him sending his staff members was in contravention of our agreement that him, as the person ultimately responsible as the business owner, be the one to come to my home and assess the damage.
