peanut in smoothie in place of almond butter

Last Wednesday (16 March) I lay a complaint on Kauai's Facebook page after having an Amazon smoothie from their Canal Walk branch that had peanuts in. The Amazon is one of my favourite smoothies and contains almond butter. I have a peanut allergy and am quite sensitive to peanuts. After drinking half of the Amazon smoothie I started having allergic reactions and when I got home I wrote a complaint on their Facebook wall. After that it went from bad to worse, I tossed and turned with allergy symptoms all that night. <br> <br> On 17 March Kauai responded to my complaint asking me to send them my contact details via private message in order for the team to contact me, which I did. <br> <br> To date I have not heard back from them. It is now one week since my complaint was lodged. This is a serious allegation and Kauai should at least have the professionalism to keep me updated about what they are doing about it.
