Bad Service and False Advertising

I visited the Kauai in Lenasia, Virgin Active, on both occasions, within a space of 5 weeks, their coffee .machine has been broken, they only serve smoothies. I visited the Kauai at Virgin Active Sandton CBD, there was a sign saying buy a smoothie and get the next one on half price, only to be told the sign was a mistake, is that not against the consumer customer act?
