Beware of a ********** system

My husband had a stroke in October and has been confined to a wheelchair since. We therefore needed 2 ramps to get the wheelchair from the house into the garden and to the garage. Geoff was recommended by a friend, he came straight away, took the measurements and promised to have everything ready within 10 days. I paid the deposit of R 10.000.- and that was more or less the end of the story. Excuse after excuse followed, but he did nothing. My husband came from rehab and could not leave the house because there was no way to get the wheelchair up and down the stairs. I could not even bring him to rehab, because I could not reach the Garage with the wheelchair. After my pleas and later threats, Geoff finally came and built 2 very temporary ramps, which were on the one hand too steep and on the other hand very unstable. I have since had to pay another workman to make them reasonably safe. I can only warn against this man and his machinations! He uses the money from the deposit to plug one of his numerous debt holes. In order to buy the material needed for your order, he then needs a new victim to make a down payment. If no new customer falls for him, you end up where I am now. A clearly ********** system!
