EXTREMELY BAD SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY BY KATHU PHC CLINIC

I dont think that I am the only unhappy patient out here as a lot of people just dont know how or where to address such matters - or who to go to at all!

As a Government/Public clinic, I feel employees should really stand firm at all times. The Batho Pele principles pasted in the clinic clearly does not have any value as for what it's supposed to be - I have never in my entire life received such bad service that I can recall. The circumstances in which the poor patients have to wait for the entire day - not very young ones at all - is just a national disgrace. I visited the clinic today at 8:00am in the morning and literally got assistance at 12:16pm just after midday - I mean do nurses only care "so much" about their patients?

Its just so unacceptable! Not everybody can afford medical aids/schemes hence we go to the clinic to get the assistance we deserve as citizens of this country. I've read on a paper at the clinic: waiting time for patients to get assistance is 45minutes - thanks for the information, but why not stick to it? Why have chit-chats so loud in there, having coffee while everybody's standing out there as if they're being ignored or as if patients shall wait because they're the ones who need help...not the nurses! The vision of the clinic states: An integrated coordinated service delivered with excellence to the community. I think they do everything except for what their vision states.

I am really sorry if i sounds rude in any way or ungrateful, but having so many nurses/employees there and still fail to assist as supposed to - its just a pity.
