My experience with Kathleen Mother & Baby Unit has been incredibly special, and I am so grateful for the care Kathleen gave me throughout my pregnancy and after my baby was born. My birth did not go exactly as planned. I was induced and eventually had a C-section with my gynaecologist. However, Kathleen remained a wonderful source of support before and after the birth. Her care continued when I came home with my newborn, recovering from major surgery and adjusting to the enormous physical and emotional changes that come with becoming a mother. Kathleen is one of those rare people who makes you feel genuinely cared for. She is incredibly compassionate and understanding, and she gives advice with such wisdom and kindness. I never felt silly for asking questions or worried that I was being judged. Instead, I felt listened to and reassured. What stands out most to me is that Kathleen understands that the mother needs caring for too. She didn't only focus on my baby — she cared about how I was coping, recovering and finding my way as a new mother. I will always be grateful that Kathleen was part of such an important chapter of our lives. She helped make the beginning of my babies life feel surrounded by care, kindness and support.
