Valentines Dinner Disaster

<p>My husband and I decided to have dinner at the Karoo cattle and Land restaurant for Valentine’s day but boy what a mistake that was, We had a terrible experience and will definitely not return. When we arrived we stood at the reception/waiting area for like ten minutes before we could get the attention of one of the waitrons, although many walked past us they didn’t stop to let us know if there are seats or not. When my husband did get the attention of one of the waitrons we were told that there are available tables and took us in. When we wanted to order we were both told the cut of steaks we wanted is finished and we had to choose something else, we were starving by that time and decided to just take an alternative meal. There wasn’t any salt, pepper or sauces on our table. When our meals arrived I was surprised that the presentation was that off a takeaway. Our plates were filled with onion rings and chips. The meat had no taste whatsoever and was charred and dry. I had to order some sauce on the side. The manager came around eventually to ask if everything is fine and I have told her all of the above and all she said was “I’m sorry what are you drinking? can I get you a drink maybe?” at that point I was so annoyed that I had asked for the bill and got out of there.</p>
