Beautiful Venue, Helpful staff

Absolute hats off to Karoo 1 for their amazing service and assistance. We were supposed to have our wedding at this beautiful venue in December. We went for a tasting and the cheff is absolutely brilliant, alongside the friendly, professional staff. Unfortunately De Doorns had flooding the week of our wedding and the venue was also flooded. The owner contacted us to inform us and was willing to go above and beyond to get the place back into shape for our celebration to commence, and even offered to facilitate the wedding in January. The weather forecast was unfortunately not looking good for the day of the ceremony and we decided together with the owner and helpful staff of Karoo 1 that we would change venues. Thereafter the owner refunded us and we were able to secure a different venue. It was such a pity that we did not get to celebrate our special day at this beautiful, secluded location, however we will definitely head back there for an anniversary trip this year. - Suzaan Haasbroek Van Meyeren
