WARNING!!!! KAREL's SERVICE CENTRE CARLETONVILLE WILL ***** YOUR MONEY AND DESTROY YOUR CAR.

DO NOT TAKE ANY VEHICLES TO KARL'S CERVICE CENTRE BEHIND ENGEN GARAGE IN ONYX DRIVE CARLETONVILLE. BE WARNED YOU WILL BE ****** AND YOUR VEHICLE DESTROYED BY OWNER KARL AS PARTS OF OTHER VEHICLES OF CUSTOMERS MIGHT END UP IN YOURS OR VICE VERSA. People please be cautious and very very weary of this so called service centre located behind Engen garage at Shoprite Carletonville. I took my Audi A4 to Karl's Service Centre to have a couple minor things fixed after 3 weeks of purchasing the vehicle and left it there on 24/10/2018 together with a Deposit of R5000.00 as requested by Karl to buy spares needed.

Karl the owner and head unqualified mechanic (found out later only) had done a full (according to him) inspection of the problems and when I arrived on 01/11/2018 I was told of spares needed so I paid another R3000.00as it was all I had with me so I arranged to pay the other R5000.00 the following day and did so on 02/11/2018 for him to be able to purchase the needed spares to start work on my car. On 19/11/2018 we went back to Karl to check on the progress made.

On arrival I saw that the motor had been removed and according to him the clutch had to also be replaced and I paid another R5000. 00 over to him for the parts. (We got invoices stamped by himself with these amounts and dates).

After that date we went back again after more than 2 weeks to see if the car has been repaired as promised by him and on arrival it was still my motorless Audi. He then made an excuse telling us the motor has been sent to engineering services in Carletonville and they are waiting for it to return so they could finish the work I Paid for.

Carrying on like this till April 2019 with more excuses and lies being sold to us every time we arrived to check on progress as after almost 6 months the story was still at the engineering works and not a single part had been purchased by him(as we found out at the end of March2019 when I had enough and went there to take back my car and get a refund or my spares so I could find a Auto repair centre capable of doing the work as I wanted my car running.

He himself then pleaded for yet another week to get the motor back as the engineering company still had it according to him. I then returned after 7 days expecting my car,paid for spares,motor that was completed by engineering works and my money I paid towards it all.

As I got it back myself and people helping me to get the car home saw that the motor was half way stripped and nothing else was done since November 2018. When demanding my spares (he had bought every time he requested money) had never been purchased and he could not return my R18000.00. Excuses was made by him like every other time and we had no other choice but to open a case with Carletonville SAPS as I had a running driving car when handing it to Karl and now have 4 boxes and a boot full of parts and motor that Audi SA refuses to assemble it again as they cannot give any guarantee after the motor was destroyd by Karl. Also went to Audi and VW service centre in Carletonville where I got the same feedback. To replace the motor Costs R75000.00 to R80000.00. After all I have lost a car I had bought and used for 3weeks and got it back destroyed and ******.

ARRESTS ARE BEING MADE EVERY DAY FOR DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY, THEFT ETC. NOT EVEN COMING CLOSE TO THIS AMOUNT AND STILL SOMEHOW HE HAS NOT BEEN ARRESTED OR EVEN TAKEN TO COURT. JUST CARRYING ON LIKE NORMAL WHILE MYSELF AND MY WIFE LOST MORE THAN R140 000 ON THAT CAR THROUGH KAREL. I HAVE ALL THE ORIGINAL INVOICES TO SHOW. SOME PEOPLE JUST SEEM TO GET AWAY WITH BEING ********* . IF I PAY FOR ITEMS AND NEVER RECIEVE THE ITEMS OR A REFUND OF MY MONEY IS THAT NOT THEFT? ( NO PARTS + NO MONEY=THEFT) IS MY PROPERTY NOT DAMAGED BEYOND REPAIR BY KARL WHEN THE MOTOR IS TAKEN APART,ALL ENGINE PARTS REMOVED AND HAVING A CAR THAT WAS RUNNING NOW HAVING TO BE SOLD AS SPARES for R20000.00 AS A MOTOR REPLACEMENT IS OVER R75000.00 WITHOUGHT LABOUR COSTS AND OTHER EXPENSES AOUNTING TO EVEN MORE. AFTER PAYING R18000.00 CASH THATS ALSO GONE. I lost a car and money but Karel's Service Centre keeps on going and no one except me and my wife is lost.

I myself have been arrested and sentenced in our Oberholzer court for much much less than this.
